Books, Volume, Marketcap
On the 8th of January 2018, a leading crypto market analytics website decided to exclude Korean markets which were consistently upwards of 30% higher than the rest of the market. These actions made the market appear to sink and fired off a massive sell off.
We allow users to choose the exchanges they want to see data from. If the users would like to include or exclude BitHumb or any other exchange, they can, as it should be. This is the first of a two part solution. We will be rolling out the second solution in the coming months.
Regional Market InfluenceProblem:
We kept hearing China was banning crypto and we reacted blindly with market sell off. The Asian markets have been hearing that the US is going to ban crypto. The Asian markets have no way to see the impact of trading in our markets and they sell off on the assumption we might hinder market growth. There is no way to see how crypto markets are progressing, fluctuating or responding to regional and global news. Even on a individual basis, its difficult to assess what markets are buying an asset. For example, if its a Chinese based asset but there is almost no liquidity or volume in Asian markets.
We track markets independently. We provide statistics from a regional perspective, capturing an array of market data. We enable users to see how their assets are performing in various regional markets and as well to see how each regional market is performing as a whole. With our market selection feature, we equip users with regional market specific data that provides a greater understanding of global crypto market dynamics.
Visibiilty into Market LiquidityProblem:
When crypto users go to buy an asset, they have no clue as to the market liquidity for that asset other than what they can see real time on the exchange when they purchase it. The possibility to buy a large amount of an asset that doesn't have the market liquidity to liquidate the asset is not uncommon in crypto.
We provide global market depth analytics so that users can see what liquidity looks like for an asset before they buy it. To avoid falling for a pump and dump market data based on real time data, we also enable users to see historic market depth, validating that the asset has had consistent liquidity.
Power Filters & Data FlexibiiltyProblem:
All the sites that provide crypto market data do not have a way to filter their asset listings and offer users limited fields to choose from and limited ways to view the data they are providing.
We enable users to see the fields they want to see, in the order they want to see them. We already have 35 categorized fields to choose from. We empower users with an array of filters so they dont have to see assets that dont have the liquidity, volume or market caps they want to see.
Three Components of Technical AnalysisProblem:
Technical Analysis (TA) consists of assessing trends in price, volume and open interest (open orders). The revolution of the crypto exchange industry has enabled the ability to pull real time open interest on individual assets and not just futures contracts or options. There are a few sites users can see analysis of real time market depth and there was no place to see historical depth trends or global market depth data
No where else provides the level 2 market depth facilities we do. We not only pull and provide real time global order books, we chart books bids and asks historically for technical anlaysis. We also enable users to see the order books within various distances from the current price so that users can distinguish if the order books are actually in play. We have seen open interest trends be pre-cursors to volume and price action, clear market manipulation, confirmation and divergence signals and we are still discovering new ways to TA market depth. We have also created first to market, market indicators for market depth (MDR) that have proven powerful in a new era of open interest TA.
How do I know if an exchange or coin volume is real or fake volume? All the market analytics are struggling to validate fake volume and leave the users with no way to know
We have a great solution for this that is under development now, more details to come
How can you trust the pricing of crypto assets if none of the market analysis sites provide liquidity data to verify that price can be sustained. How can we prevent removing one exchanges data from impacting the price average so much especially if it accounts for so little of the actual market action.
The first part of our solution was giving the users the ability to filter by the exchange themselves. This second part of the solution is definitely powerful, and also still under development. More details to come soon.
We are building it the way it should of been done to begin with, we got tired of waiting for the legacy coin market analytics sites to step up. We provide critical market data you cant get anywhere else and an incredibly flexible and user empowering interface. As well have developed market indicators likely to become mainstream market indicators such as the Market Depth Ratio (MDR), the Books to Volume Ratio (BVR) and the extention of our data flexibility with the Triple Variable Trend (TVT) functionality. We are working to add an advanced charting feature to give advanced users the ability to view our data in an interface similar to what they are already used to using on other mainstream charting sites.
